Forecasting horizon

The horizon for our alloy surcharge forecasts depends on the according calculation system for the different product types and your requirements.

The following forecasting horizons have proven to be effective for a reliable forecast:

For short-term and accurate forecasts, updated daily in the customer area of our homepage:
2 months before publication.

For medium-term forecasts incl. commodity forecasts as a monthly newsletter:
3 months before publication.

For long-term and budget planning, a detailed annual forecast for the following year with quarterly forecasts of alloy surcharges and raw materials, optionally available in autumn, is offered.

Our projections are adjusted to the actual values every day and updated in case of deviation.
This increases the accuracy of our alloy surcharge forecasts day by day.
